£850 Raised for Charity at Christmas!

This year more than ever, the team at EDAC and MH Connectors wanted to spread a little Christmas cheer. At the start of December the EDAC Elves got to work on raising money for our chosen charities: Cancer Research UK and the Child Growth Foundation.

As a small contribution towards saving the planet as well as fundraising the team decided to send digital Christmas Cards to our distributors, OEMs and industry friends. Each message was personalised and for every card sent £2 was donated. We received some very touching responses and would like to thank everyone who took the time to reply.

In the office, we decided to forgo sending Christmas cards to each other and donated what we would have spent instead.

Earlier this month we donated £1 each to wear our Christmas jumpers to the office. What a handsome bunch!

In total, the team raised £850. The total will be split evenly between the staff nominated charities of Cancer Research UK, the world's leading independent cancer charity and the Child Growth Foundation, who support children, adults and families affected by rare growth conditions.
